Produced by Dapol for Lord & Butler of Cardiff as a special edition in 2007. Bute Merthyr Colliery was the first steam coal mine to operate in the Rhondda Valley. The first shaft was sunk in 1851 with a second following in 1853. The colliery would operate for the next 73 years finally closing in 1926. The wagon is in excellent, like new condition with all couplings and buffers intact. Box in good condition, sleeve has some light wear and is slighted faded.
