Furniss - 7 plank N
£12.95
Exclusive release from the Wagon Yard - 97 pristine 7 plank, private owner wagons in the livery of Thomas Furniss & Son. Furniss was a coal and lime merchant operating from the late 1800's based in Epsom, Surrey. The wagon livery recreated here is from two 12 ton wagons purchased in 1924 from Thomas Burnett of Doncaster. They were registered with the Southern Railway and given the numbers 303 and 304. The deep black body of the wagon perfectly complements the companies logo with the rich red backing and crisp white lettering of Furniss standing out proudly. ERA: 3
